Autumn at Gibside
We visited Gibside in autumn, which is probably one of my favourite times to explore places like this. The changing leaves created some lovely views along the river.
We also spotted a heron while we were walking. It was standing quietly along the riverbank, watching the water, before we came across another one hiding among some tall purple flowers.
