High Dam Tarn
We walked up to High Dam Tarn on an autumn day. The tarn is on the opposite side of the lake to the town of Windermere, so it's quite a quiet spot.
The autumn trees were reflected almost perfectly in the water. At one point, a brief shower passed over us. The rain disturbed the surface of the water, creating ripples through the reflections. Once the rain stopped, the water became still again, and the reflections returned.
