A Winter Walk at Wynyard Woodland Park
We visited Wynyard Woodland Park on a rainy winter day, hoping to get out for a walk despite the weather.
We stopped for dinner at the café in the visitor centre first, which is housed in what used to be the old station house. By the time we headed out, the rain had eased, so we made our way into the woodland.
With the trees bare and the paths muddy from the rain, it had a very different feel to the woodland in spring or summer, but not every landscape needs sunshine and bright colours to make an interesting photograph.
