Whitburn
The weather certainly made an impression when I visited the coast at Whitburn.
The sea was rough, with waves crashing against the rocks and sending spray high into the air when I visited the coast at Whitburn. Along the shoreline, the gulls had gathered around their nesting spots, unfazed by the waves and the wild weather.
Souter Lighthouse stood in the distance as I wandered along the coast, appearing in the background of some of my photographs. Then the rain arrived.
Rather than heading straight home, I waited a little longer, and a rainbow appeared beside the lighthouse, creating a completely different picture from the stormy photographs I'd been taking just moments before.
