Washington Old Hall
We visited Washington Old Hall, and I enjoyed wandering around the old building. It was also nice to explore the grounds and photograph the garden where the snowdrops were out. The connection to George Washington was something I found particularly interesting. It's strange to think that the family of the first US president had roots here in the North East.
