Thornton le Dale

Thornton-le-Dale

We visited Thornton-le-Dale in North Yorkshire and spent some time wandering through the village.

There were pretty cottages and gardens, including the famous thatched cottage, which is probably the most recognisable building in the village. Even the car park had a walled-garden feel.

We followed a short path through the village before heading out across the fields. The walk then continued alongside the river, with more views to photograph along the way. Eventually, we reached the church at the other end of the village before making our way back.
