Sizergh Castle
We stopped at Sizergh Castle near Kendal on our way home from the Lake District. We didn't have long to look around, and unfortunately, the house wasn't open when we visited, but there was still plenty to explore outside.
We wandered through the grounds, orchard, and pretty walled gardens. There were lots of flowers to photograph, and some wildlife, too. I'd definitely like to return one day with more time to explore.
