Saltwick Bay
We walked from Whitby along the beach towards Saltwick Bay, stopping along the way to explore the rockpools. I always enjoy looking into rockpools to see what I can find, and there were lots of them to look in. We also spotted a cormorant sitting out on the rocks, and further along the bay, we came across the remains of an old shipwreck.
On the way back towards Whitby, we climbed back up from the beach and passed Whitby Abbey, sitting on the cliff top.
