Durham Botanic Gardens

 

After visiting Crook Hall, I went to see the Botanic Gardens. There is lots to see including a wildflower meadow and glasshouses where there are lots of cactuses cacti and other tropical plants.

I walked around Durham to take some photos and spotted a heron stood in the river. I managed to walk along the riverside to Prebends Bridge (photographed below with some angry looking clouds) before getting caught in a torrential rain shower.
