A Day in Durham
After visiting Crook Hall, we headed over to Durham Botanic Gardens to have a look around. There is lots to photograph, including a wildflower meadow, and cacti and tropical plants inside the glasshouses.

Afterwards, we walked into Durham and followed the river past the cathedral. That's where I spotted a heron standing on one of the weirs. He stayed still long enough for me to take some photographs before we carried on. I also loved the reflections of the Prebends Bridge in the river.
