Red Squirrels

A few weeks ago, I visited Yorkshire Arboretum near Castle Howard, where I was excited to see the new red squirrel enclosure. The squirrels were incredibly friendly, running along the railings where food had been left out for them. I could have watched them for ages.

There was plenty more to see around the arboretum's 120 acres though. We wandered through the grounds and spotted a couple of swans with their cygnets on the pond. We finished our visit by going back to see the red squirrels again.
