Whitby in Winter
We visited Whitby in late winter, when the town was much quieter than usual, although it was definitely much colder too.
I took some photos of the whale bones overlooking the harbour, but one of my favourite photographs from the day was of the daffodils with Whitby Abbey in the background. While we were by the harbour, the swing bridge opened to let a boat pass through, so I stopped to watch and take a few photographs.
