A Rainy Day at Aira Force
I headed to the Lake District for a few days, and the journey there was looking rather gloomy, with heavy rain following us most of the way. Luckily, by the time we reached Aira Force, the rain had stopped.
We made our way through the woodland towards the waterfall, with the sound of water getting louder as we approached. Aira Force was flowing strongly after all the rain, making it particularly impressive.
There were several different views of the falls to photograph, including from the bridge above, where you can look down as the water rushes through the rocks below. I also loved the woodland surrounding the waterfall.
