Sunrise and Sunset over Saltburn

 

Waiting for the Light

I headed out early to photograph the sunrise, but the colourful sunrise I was hoping for never really happened. Instead, the sky filled with atmospheric blue colours, and I ended up really liking the photographs anyway.

Because I'd arrived so early, the pier was completely empty, so I took the opportunity to photograph it without anyone around. I also took a photograph of the famous cliff lift.

The other photographs show the beach and cliffs in completely different light, with beautiful pinks across the sky and sand at sunset on a different day.
