Castleton in the Peak District is nestled in a valley, surrounded by stunning hills and rugged peaks, with the iconic Peveril Castle sitting high above. We spent the day wandering through the village streets, checking out the quaint shops and cosy cafés. A highlight was exploring some of the caves around the area, like the impressive Peak Cavern, and taking in the views.
We also visited the tiny village of Edale while in the Peak District, and managed to fit in a quick walk at Ladybower Reservoir before heading home.
