Ennerdale in Spring
Ennerdale was one of the lakes in the Lake District that I hadn’t yet visited, so I was looking forward to finally seeing it. We arrived on a sunny spring day and followed the footpath towards the water. We didn’t have to walk far before we were greeted with amazing views of the lake and surrounding fells.
The bright blue sky and calm water made for some stunning reflections, with the fells mirrored across the surface. We carried on walking along one side of the lake, which gave us a completely different view of the water and surrounding landscape.
Another Lake District lake ticked off the list.
