Since
lockdown, I’ve found so many lovely places to walk locally that I otherwise might
not have discovered. The latest example being a walk through Kildale, stumbling
upon an old mine built in the 19th century.
Warren Moor Mine never
started production and was closed in 1874 after there was found to be no
ironstone.
