Spring Blossom by the River
On this visit, a beautiful blossom tree beside the River Leven was in full bloom, its pink flowers reflecting softly in the water below.
As I was photographing the blossom, another scene caught my attention. A pair of moorhens were busy looking after their tiny chicks, quietly making their way along the riverbank. It's often this unexpected wildlife that make a visit even more memorable.
